That's just using the core audio library (something on github) - honestly, I should've just made it a plug-in and included it with S+, instead of compiling it into S+ itself.

Essentially, something in that other library is failing, but it works fine for me...so it makes it extremely difficult for me to troubleshoot since it's not my code

I need to figure out some better method or library/code for handling basic volume stuff, but Microsoft made it MUCH more complicated after windows Vista I think, so it's a hot mess just to do simple things...
