What key combination are you trying to set?
You won't be able to create a hotkey which is already registered somewhere else, for example Win+R, Win+E, etc.

I think the hotkey in Strokesplus can completely replace Autohotkey, but it doesn't seem to be competent; I tried WN+E registration successfully, but it didn't work properly after restarting the computer.
