StrokesPlus prevents exclusive fullscreen in other program

Hi, this is a bit obscure. I'm using a GPU based video renderer called madvr when playing media files. It has a feature called exclusive fullscreen which does some kind of windows magic. I need this feature for HDR to be properly played on my TV. Apparently SP draws some kind of invisible foreground window (probably for the strokes to be drawn) and this prevents the exclusive fullscreen from working. This is described in this bug ticket: http://bugs.madshi.net/view.php?id=541Unfortunately disabling SP does not fix this - I have to close the program completely. If possible it all I would really appreciate it if disabling SP would also remove this canvas window (or whatever you may call it) . By the way, I think it would be good for new forum members to be informed that posting is not allowed instantly and will be allowed at some point. I saw in the bottom left that I wasn't allowed to post but had no idea if that required some manual action on my part (some forums require you to introduce yourself) or if it will be automatically allowed after some time (which seems to be the case). Looking at the bug logs in the bug report, it's reading StrokesPlus.exe, which is the old version of S+ and is no longer being maintained.
Do you have the same issue with StrokesPlus.net?

I manually review signups and approve. There are SO. MANY. SPAM. BOTS. that it helps to keep the forums clean.
But I agree it would be nice if there was some kind of messaging to inform you of that, I'll see if it's something I can easily add into the packaged forum pages/email somewhere.

Thanks for the quick response.
I have this issue with StrokesPlus.net, I just linked that issue to provide some more technical background information. Exclusive fullscreen works with the program not running and as soon as I start version 0.5.6.1 it doesn't work anymore. Disabling it doesn't help.

Okay. Do you have either of these checked under Options > Advanced? - Draw Surface Always on Top
- Send Draw Surface to Bottom
If so, uncheck them and try it again.

Can you do what you did in the previous bug and send me the log file so I can see what window it thinks it's seeing?

Actually, try 0.5.6.3 first.
The mouse hook window, while not actually visible, was considered a visible window due to a bug.
