There is an App in MAC called PopClip for MAC, it seems like long taping the words on the phone.

When selecting the words no matter in the browser or in the Office or others, it will popup a bar, which shows a list of icons, if I click an icon, it can copy/paste/search the selected words through the function I set this icon.

There are no programs instead of in Windows, but there are many extensions in Chrome or Firefox, some of them called Selected Context Search or Selected Translator. The most important is that the browser can not support paste, they can not visit the clipboard, document.execCommand("Paste") is forbidden.
