Hi everyone, every time I shutdown my notebook (HP) I get this error (it appears for about 3 seconds, then it disappears and the PC switches off normally without any problem): Sorry the message is in italian, but I think that it should be clear. When the notebbok is on, Stroke works always flawlessly, but this error occurs every time (with at least the last 3/4 versions of this wonderful software). If someone could explain to me why and how to fix it, it wuold be great!

I'm thinking (based on results I'm finding on the web) it might be due to the Console window, which is always in the background being killed on exit without unloading. Since it references the Scintilla DLL, it might be that binding which is causing the exception.
In the next release, I'll have it unload the console on WM_ENDSESSION and see if that resolves it.

I think it may be some race condition...which is always fun - does it always happen?

Yeah, i have it happen as well, it's difficult to debug this! I will try to see what I can do to resolve it, but I'm almost positive it's just the Console window's Scintilla editor not being fully unloaded. It should be a harmless error, though.

Well, there may be cases... I attached a very loud "Can't do it" phrase to the system critical error event - to hear everywhere if something needs my attention. And, before bed, I have a habit to leave my desktop PC playing relaxing music for 30 minutes, then shut down. Man, that was nasty! Thankfully I don't really need that alarm :)
