Hi RobI updated the latest version of the software today and couldn't open the settings window for the S-plus program

Hmm, several others are running okay, so it's not a universal issue.

I'm out of town today, so I don't have my laptop to look into it.

Can you install the trace version and run with all of the options checked, attempt to open settings, then close. Post the log on pastebin or something so I can look at it.

I might also need your settings file if the trace log doesn't help.

I haven't used trace version yet. I'm not familiar with its use and operation. At present, the software can operate normally except that the setting window cannot be opened. Maybe I can wait for you to provide an updated version of it.

The only problem is that myself not many others are experiencing the issue, so I don't know what needs to be fixed.

Because I can't open the software settings window, I don't know how to find its configuration file.

Oh okay. If you're using the installer version, the settings file will be in this location (change {YOUR_USER_NAME} to your login):

C:\Users\{YOUR_USER_NAME}\AppData\Roaming\StrokesPlus.net

The file will be named one of the following:
  • StrokesPlus.net.bin
  • StrokesPlus.net.json if you have called sp_config.ConvertToJSON() or StrokesPlus.Configuration.Settings.ConvertToJSON()


If you are using the portable version, the file will generally be in the same folder as StrokesPlus.net.exe.
