I run Windows 10 (newest version 20H2). When I start StrokesPlus.net, it starts up normally and the tray area icon appears. However, no gestures work and when I double-click the icon an error message appears and the application crashes.

That's interesting, I wonder where "xxxde-DE" is coming from.

Do you have anything specifically set somewhere for language?

I forgot, I use version 0.4.2.6

I have two windows accounts on the same PC. StrokePlus works on one but gives the error above on the other.

The only language-related thing that I can think of is that on the working account I use only 1 keyboard layout (english) while on the buggy account I use 3 (english, german, russian).

On the buggy account, what happens if you hold the Control key while S+ start or open with the safemode parameter as shown below?
