Is there a way to create a dead zone for gestures.

I.E. to make it not read if the gesture is too small or too big? I keep sliding windows across while watching youtube and queuing up videos.

Can you give me a little more context? I'm trying to visualize what you're talking about and I'm not coming up with a clear picture when you mention "sliding windows across while watching youtube and queuing up video".

What is happening? Why is it happening? Is it quick clicks that are picking up a small movement? ...etc.

Or if you can post a GIF/video to illustrate, that would help as well.

"Is it quick clicks that are picking up a small movement? "

this is more of what is happening, you see i use the middle mouse button to activate the gestures but i still, use the middle mouse button on websites.

as for my term "sliding" i use 2 moniters, and i made a small V like gestures to move a window from screen 1 to 2 and vice versa.
another thing is the minimizing gresture the program comes with i will sometime activate that and middle clicking on stuff.
(note my mouse doesn't have x1 and x2 buttons) i guess i could use right click but i find it a bit odd.

as for for the term dead zone. i seen on many controllers where near the middle if you wiggle the anagloue ever so slightly it won't make any kind of movment.
the red dot in this image is a dead zone moving the anagloue stick won't do any kind of input -> https://i.imgur.com/sZRQg0x.png
(sorry not sure how to show a image with out a link)

basically what i am asking if there is a simlar thing for strokes plus.

I hope this helps figure out better what i am talking about.

Have you tried increasing the value in Options Advanced - Minimum Gesture Start Distance?

That defines how far from the start location you must exceed before it begins to recognize as a gesture.

thanks 1 user thanked Rob for this useful post.
