Today I received an update push for 0.2.5.8

But after updating, I can only use the program, but I can't open the setting interface. When I double-click the system tray to open the setting, the program crashes after the loading setting is displayed. I want to reload it, but I don't know where the settings are saved. I want to manually copy it out.

By default, it will be in your app data folder:

C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\StrokesPlus.net\StrokesPlus.net.bin

Can you send me your settings file? I don't have an issue opening the Settings window and would like to test it out with your file.

Also, you can reinstall the previous version: https://www.strokesplus.net/files/StrokesPlus.net_Setup_0.2.5.7.exe

And you can execute this script once to disable update checks, so it doesn't ask you to update each time (since you'd be running an older version).

sp_config.DisableUpdateCheck = true;

Of course, that setting is saved, so you'd have to call it again with false to resume update checks.

thanks a lot

When I posted this post, I saw the change log, which said that the settings of the old and new versions are not universal. I installed the old version to export the settings, and then installed the new version to import the settings. In short, thank you for your reply.

Happy in 2019~
