S+ is a full featured system that uses multiple instances of the Chrome V8 engine along with many .NET Framework libraries.

This affords users with a lot of power and functionality, but it also costs more in terms of running resource usage.

If you're just looking for simple scripts with a low memory footprint, you may want to try AHK.
