Hi Rob, long time no hear,
I recently noticed that my old installation of S+.net always unloads from memory when I press slash on numeric keyboard. I reinstalled with the curent newest version and the issue still persists. Is there any kind of setting I might have forgotten about?
Exiting S+.net this way even leaves the computer in a state when I cannot left or right click a bottom pane of Windows (Win7) with start button and icon tray. Clicks dont do anything, as if there was a small invisible overlay over that bar. Just that bar is affected. That is not normal, right?

Can you check the Event Viewer and see if you have any exceptions in the Application log?
If so, there are usually two, one that is just something pretty low level like kernel32.dll, but the next one below usually has something meaningful for me, like a function name and .NET error message.

Hmm, no administrative events nor any application log events. Nothing suspicious of that sort.

Well that's very odd. I cannot reproduce the issue, I even tried changing keyboard layouts to Polish, Uzbek, and Russian - all behaves fine. When you did a re-install, did you move/rename your StrokesPlus.net.bin (settings) file first? Just to eliminate if there's something specific in your configuration causing the issue. You might want to check out this thread, download the trace version and post the logs right when this happens. Oh yeah, and select just these options in the trace version to start with.

So the settings file does it, when I copied it to a new folder with default portable S+.net. Then just loaded the S+.net and pressed the "/" numeric pad key. Here: https://drive.google.com...wTThH7ygaoBYyweKyuPKb37GI will check the rest of the things you told me in the next 12 hours or so.

needless to say, default S+.net portable with default settings file was ok, didn't "crash" this way.

You have a hot key for / which sends the X1 down event, then exits S+ That half click seems like it's what's causing the odd behavior, since Windows thinks the X1 mouse button is being held down, if I comment that line, S+ exits and Windows seems to be behaving normally.

Omg, you're right! Thank you!
This must have been a remnant of past testing. Thank you once again for debugging this for me, I completely forgot there are hotkeys set up in the S+.net.
